Waiting for that paperwork!!!

Well, summer is almost over and we're getting ready for school and InterVarsity to start up again. The kids' bags of school supplies are piled on the living room floor and Liam has been wearing his "back to school shirt" every day this week. Kenzie is saving her special outfit for the the actual first day, the "right way to do it", she informed me.

And every day, we rush out to check the mailbox for the I-171H - the last document we need before they can officially start the match at the orphanage. For some reason, our mail man is now coming at 5:30 pm, so it's a LONG wait each day. But, I guess that means it's a longer time each day for the mail to show up at the post office and get divied out to us....

Waiting is like a butterfly inside the cocoon. It must be dark and secluded for the necessary changes and preparations to take place. That beautiful butterfly needs the right amount of time to be fully formed. If it breaks out too early, it may not make it. So we wait in our cocoon....there's a bit of squirming in here, a desire to break out, but it's not yet time.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalm 27:14

Strengthen us, Lord, as we wait and have mercy on us!
